Kashmir is Pakistan. AJK banned Geo TV for showing wrong map of Pakistan

In an expression of anger for Geo TV showing map of Jammu and Kashmir separate from Pakistan, Azaj Kashmir has banned Geo TV broadcasting in the region. This is a first of its kind action on treacherous section of the media for deliberate compromise on National issues.

Azad Kashmir Government has also asked Government of Pakistan to take Geo News into account for their treacherous acts. Just to remind, Ministry of Defense has already complained PEMRA against GEO indicating their ill acts campaigns against the Armed Forces of Pakistan.

Geo News' Act is equivalent to Media Terrorism and must be handled on anti-terrorism scale.

Geo has been showing wrong maps of Pakistan since a while now. There are numerous instances where they showed Pakistan and Kashmir separate.

ISLAMABAD: The Government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir on Monday imposed a ban on Geo News within its territory over Pakistan map controversy, ARY News reported.

In a release issued today, Azad Kashmir government said that Geo News in its program aired an incomplete Pakistan map, which damaged the Kashmir freedom movement.

The release read that Geo News actions have become unbearable and called the Government of Pakistan to take serious notice of it.

The AJK government slammed Geo News saying that it has become a routine matter for the media house to air controversial content, then to furnish explanations and ask for pardon, and then again repeating same sort of things.

A week ago, Geo News in its program ‘Aaj Shahzaib Khanzada k Sath’ had aired a Pakistan map with Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan excluded from it, which drew serious reaction from all over the country.

The private news channel later apologized for it, like the way it did on many other occasions previously.

what's happening to you people... first you want Kashmir to be merged with Pakistan recently you've dropped that plan and want to establish a separate country for Kashmirs only.. so what's the problem if Kashmir is not included in pakistan map or if kashmir is shown as a separate country???
