Kashmir: India’s Afghanistan

It never reached the level of an insurgency which has been seen in Afg or Syria / Iraq etc.

kashmir is fully land locked and a valley of 60 kms in length and 40 kms in breadth that is 2400 km squar area which is guarded at border by very heavily deployed armed forces and inside kashmir equal number of CI troops are deployed, Pakistan army can of course push militants across but chances of success will always be much lesser and specially with heavy equipment almost impossible.
Rest like I said Indian forces has no shortage of men and materials will main land India sharing borders with it.
So the level of insurgency same as Afg or Syria is almost impossible, if Pulwana type attacks happens India will most likely strike with in Pakistan and more strict treatment of kashmir muslims will follow.
So all in all a very difficult situation for any one who wants to see syria or afg in Kashmir.

Doing PDF a favor; he'll trip and say something stupid that'll get him banned.

haha dont worry I will not fall in your trap :P, I like mostly defense equipment and strategies personal topics or religious topics doesnt interest me much anyway. :)

And bomb some trees, after 27feb response I doubt India will dare to even do that in fear of retaliation. So expect more and more Uri, Pulwanas, Pathankot etc The more India repress Kashmiris, the more they will blow up. This time they may even take fight to mainland India.

Pakistan options are limited in terms starting war and winning it. Neither Pakistan can push militants across the border and go to UN at the same time. This change of policy have had its effect on international stage, thats why every major news paper in the world is actively writing against India.

Insurgency work if its indigenous.

not sure any changes in Indian policy will be impacted by any news paper of the world, and regarding Indian response that is pretty much guaranteed even if it means hitting trees or plants not sure Indian response will be muted because India fears any retaliation as its a govt. policy now and policies doesn't change of any nation because they fear something its all about achieving the desired results.

India didn't expect losing 3 air crafts and half dozen men after bombing some trees. It backed off pretty quickly after 27th Feb response. It shows India too have very limited options after more Pulwanas which will happen more frequently now.

India was more bothered about the 50 odd CRPF men who were killed earlier, aircraft doesn't not matter neither 1 captured pilot although loss of 6 men by fratricide was indeed very unprofessional.
India indeed has not limited but only one option to strike at source.
If you check the interviews after Balakot its clear Indian govt was fully prepared to take risk of losing 12 odd Mirage 2000s, in war you will have losses.

2 pilots were killed and 1 captured. Killing of 6 by accident was also triggered by Pakistan. India backed off quickly after that.

Once facade of fake strikes is over, it shows India too have limited options.

Kashmiris now more then ever will pick up arms. Blowing up is even more easy Pulwana style.

Believe me I could get him banned after his first post but..for me he is worthless opponent and in fact exposing the crap filled in their brainless skulls. If we argue with such troll, we in fact give them attention they are seeking.

I assume you are talking about me, see I have no interest in indulging in political or religious discussions I am here only for discussing strategies and equipment so if you are thinking I am here to troll you are wrong you can check my all post its mostly related to strategy not commenting or degrading anyone or anything.

aircraft doesn't not matter neither
Rubbish. India was embarrassed wholly and comprehensively.

Modi government's only option to preserve its own validity was to lock down any negative reporting or media questioning of the official narrative. Immediate threats were made against numerous media personalities and opposing politicians along the lines of "pro-Pakistani behaviour"

India is entrenched in its own propaganda and is descending towards a fascist police state.

These policies have the full backing of the majority of the Indian citizens. The parallels with Nazi Germany are self evident.
