Of course the British Parliament has no locus standi in the matter whatsoever; which is why the UK has refrained from getting drawn into any blandishments to mediate in any way. Otherwise; the Indian Parliament could well be driven to deal with the issue of Scotland and its desire for self-determination or independence.
