Infrastructure Left over from the British Raj (infrastructure to administer the empire) and a few New Buildings from the early days of Pakistan. Nostalgia for these pictures is looking back at the colonial period with rose colored glasses. What they don't show are the thousands of people migrating into Karachi after Partition. Also that first picture looks like Los Angeles in the same time period; the Police Officer is wearing a Motorcycle Police officers uniform or something similar to it.
