You assume by yourself and its NATO definition and its for fighter not for helis its standard name by the company not related to only KA-52 (carrier capable) only, why they Russian called land based K-50 a K, its is not carrier capable or have a folding wing/rotors

Ka means Kamov, the founder of the company. Suffix K means ship born. Ka-52 is land based. Ka-52K is ship based. MiG-29 is land based. MiG-29K is ship based. Get it?
