They you should watch shows like hardtalk(BBC) and devil's advocate(CNN-IBN). Some shows are made with express intension of being nasty to the guest.
It is not a morning chat show where everybody is nice and polite to each other, and everything is happy happy.

So basically nobody should ask about other's wrongdoing because he could have done something in the past.
It is only attention diverting tactic. What if the journalist belongs to a country which has not committed any crime?
A journalist's job is to ask tough questions, and if you cant answer it, just say so.
