This is an opinion on current election situation in Bengladesh.
As we all know that Sheikh Hassina is in a bit of trouble because of her bad administration and Indian sponsored authoritarian rule over Bangladesh. Majority of population in Bangladesh wants freedom from this Indian dictatorship and are exploring other political options.
This has forced India and it ally Hassina to go on front foot and launch a police based crackdown on opposition but this activity is hurting Hassina's popularity even further and damaging her chance to form next govt and she needs a new break through to make it through. Only manjan Hassian can sell is the same old propaganda of anti Pakistan sympathy which is not being countered as Hossain her uncle is standing in opposition.
Hassina needs a flash point. Few days back she released a fake audio of BNP in contact with ISI in Islamabad but that was not enough to buy the much needed support, so a new theory started curculating in the think tanks that Indian RAW might be involved to assassinate the judges in Bangladesh. The judges who passed the verdict against people who supported Pakistan in 1971 RAW back civil war. This will again throw blame on Pakistan and might relight the past wounds to make Hassina attain power in Bangladesh. In some circles it has been already anticipated that the judges in Bangladesh might be the latest victims to fuel anti Pakistan hate to help Hassina retain power.
Indian RAW has previously many time undermined the democracy of Bangladesh to keep the country as a client state and under occupation.
