Who has seen it? I just got back from my viewing, and this film is an absolute masterpiece.
Joaquin Phoenix deserves an Oscar for his performance.

Haven't seen it, but I doubt the Academy plans on giving an Oscar to the same character twice.

I had chills in the last 30 mins. Phoenix's expression of a mentally tormented man and his transformation into classic Joker was mindblowing. Arguably the greatest DC film of all time. Phoenix hates franchises, but it'll be a shame if we can't see his story progress in another film.
