Its not aircraft comparison its High-G turn comparison which JF-17 won everyone knows both aircrafts are different and they have different roles.

After 5 hours of search i found the original MKI video the comparison video is not fake, you can say pathetic display of flying from indian pilot only turns and climbs not even rolls.

Hmm.... Nope.

Two seater version doesn't add hundreds of kilos. The canards are probably heavier.

Twin seats allow another pilot, which means two times the thinking power, and even while pulling maneuvers, and evading a missile, the other pilot can take care of targeting and firing missiles.

1. The video is idiotic..whoever made it.. wants to compare two different performance classes.
2. The MKI will always display a superior turn rate if it uses TVC.. which it does..

However..if one must do this academically..here is one suggestion on how to proceed.
Turn rate must be done on corner airspeed.. which is the sole ability of the airframe itself and not TVC...
So... to get an idea of the best turn rate available to the jet.. one should observe the turn rate of the Su-33..which is similar to the su-27.. ie 23 degrees a sec...at around 600 knots.

Whats the turn rate on the thunder??
Take that number..put it into the equation.. and you will get your answer..

with TVC.. you are going beyond aerodynamics..
Your wings will experience a break in airflow..

Watch how when he uses the TVC for extreme maneuvers..the airflow has left his wings..and throughout his extreme maneuvers..he is falling out of the sky..
This was termed as post-stall maneuvering in the X-31 program.(and also used very liberally by that much maligned USAF colonel..who was right about the MKI's shortcomings)..

Now this is a better video showing off the actual performance that the MKI may show in combat...see how between 0:40...and 0:48 the turn proceeds without the use of TVC..
this is the actual turn rate of the MKI....which is very good..probably closer to 24 or 25 degrees a sec.
Yet..again..whenever TVC is used..that jet is falling out of the sky..

Which turn are you talking about at 0:40 to 0:48? Plane is not turning. infact it is falling from 0:50 onwards!

it is itself a turn and MKI is specialist recovering from these kind of turns.
MKI's class is not comparable with Thunder is many aspects.
these Verses threads mostly created without any proper research.

Enough with this d*** measuring contest people, how about we man up and accept what the reality is. If we compare the specs of both these planes on the paper, obviously the MKI is superior. Neither did the PAF ever envision to make JF17 superior to MKI and neither did they envisioned both these aircrafts going up one on one without the backing of our force multipliers. Better to accept the reality than live in denial, it would do all the naysayers lots of good.
