JFT NG (blk 2) will have a re-designed cockpit with even better MMI and is being worked out at PAC as of now. Some minor changes are made to the existing cockpit in current thunder. A group of JFTs (two or more) are able to share target data and this technology is also indigenous (AWC) !

What abt engine of blk2? Is there any possibility of arming JF-17NG with AIM-120c-5, as we know we have bought many of them, and currently till 2012 we will have only 18 F-16blk52 and u earlier said pakistan is developing radar variant, so can they make it compatible with AIM-120c5? Which radar will be used in JF-17NG?

That is possible only if the Americans give you the missile source codes and Chinese the Radar source codes.

There is no problem with source codes with regard to Chinese radars as they would be manufactured at Kamra, but AIM-120 would be.

An European radar can be tried to integrate with AIM if US allows.

Then wouldnt you be facing problems integrating the SD 10 to the European Radar?

Yes - They have but AIM120-C5 are authorized for use on F-16's only so we cannot use them on JF-17 unless permission is granted by US Government or we're sanctioned.We can use AIM120 on American Jet's only or European.

As SD 10 forms an integral part of the JF 17 programme and gives you a choice of weapons. As you already know that AIM is always prone to sanctions.

With European radar, it would most probably be either MBDA missile or the AIM-120s integrated if possible. SD-10s would be used with Chinese radars most probably due to the known reasons.

The Grifo series radar being manufactured at Kamra have source codes with them, so may be as there is some chance, we may get the source code if the radar is from the Italians, thus we can integrate with them the SD-10s.

yes thats right but the programe in AIM 120c will not be in high level language(that would be in machine language"computer understandable language" and a human can't read that code). and to made it compatible with any radar, a one need to alter the programing. for that you need to have souce code. which only US have.
