Yes and they still use it on some of the aircraft... It is due for a change however...

Notice all the JF-17s are equipped with the IFR Probes.

Looks like only the Lead jet has the new tail marking and it's equipped with a in-flight probe so it's one of the latest builds. A marketing opportunity for PAF to show capability of the JF-17 to prospective buyers.

Imagine JF-17s going all out against Eurofighters and most advance F-15s in the world

Hopefully PAF learns a great deal from these exercises and incorporate the lessons and knowledge into its advance tactics and the upcoming projects (JFT Blk III's and Azm!)
