notice the glass of one light is missing . . . . . .

My point is that its also missing in Farnborough air show . . . ..

and some forum member (indian ) mentioned that its broken and say . . . "CHINA MALL" . . . . . .

now my reply is, that its not there due to some reasons . . .. deliberately

Glass is not missing but its a combo of more and less powerful
lights depending on requirement. Indian comment was as usual......

No i don't see any glass missing.. seems more like reflection of light is different due to different angles perhaps.

Btw.. are the Sherdil's using the same mascot/design as 9sq?
the Griffin?

Little different, the 9th Sqd has wings to it and pose little bit changed, while the Sherdils have a different posed, without wings lion.

Basic concept is lion in both of them, but little different.

the sherdil patch shows a lion (sher) where as the 9th squadron patch shows a Griffon (a mythical creature,half eagle half lion and yada yada....)
