Japan's Indoor Man-Made Beach

The world's one and only indoor beach can be found in Japan’s Ocean Dome about 1,200 miles south of Tokyo in Miyazaki, on Japan's southernmost Kyushu Island.

Here, the water is always blue and salt-free, waves are perfectly timed, sharks are elsewhere, and its never too hot, or cold, to take a dip.

i dont know why it looks cool to these people , this is simply waste of money

esp in the place where right there is a beach, not even in land lock place

If it rains. If it gets cold. Salt water. Also timed waves for surfing would be another plus.

this place doesnt look its enough for high tide surfing..

this place doesnt provide beach like fascination to begin with.... it more looks like a swimming pool than a good beach..

but i would agree with you on low temp factor..

Japan would have been the No. 1 weapon system supplier to the world had USA not told them to produce any such stuff after WWII.
