Yes.
Ask any Chinese person who they would prefer on the UNSC, Japan or India.
If Japan tries for the UNSC they will be vetoed. Nothing against the Japanese people in particular, but the Japanese government is essentially in the pocket of the USA. Combine that with anger over historical war crimes, and you've got a recipe for disaster.
And then you wonder why Indians are paranoid about China.

buddy, if japanese are in pocket of USA, indians are pretty much close to the willy of USA, imagine weak amreki japan with a nuclear indian getting nukes each day by americans, presently our nukes can counter them, but imagine, their nukes reaching counts of russians
India voted 11% of the time with the United States on issues important to the U.S. while Japan voted 86% of the time with the U.S.
Because of China's presence, it prevents India to annex its neignbors like Pakistan/Bengladesh/Sri Lanka/Nepal/Bhutan which is against their wish.
This is a good balanced of power in Asia.![]()
If India wanted to annex its neighbors, we would have done so long ago. We had numerous opportunities: 1971 war, Tamil insurgency in Sri Lanka, anti-monarchy revolution in Nepal...
Because many of them still afraid that India as a sole regional Superpower would abuse its power, so they believe the existence of both China and India is a good thing.
The problem is, the Indian leadership is starting to increasingly see South Asia as its own backyard (and about time too). Would you be alright if India starts giving billions of dollars worth of military equipment to Taiwan, publicly supports Uighur seperatists, and claims parts of Tibet as its own territory? Well, that's the effect that China's policies are having on India, and unless both countries adopt the "I won't touch yours, you don't touch mine" approach, the future of Sino-Indian relations seems rather bleak. Which is unfortunate, because I would love to see China and India become allies.

Lol... As long as you don't poke your nose south of Himalayas we don't care who you bully in the rest of Asia.
P.S. I know you didn't mean it but the sentence u wrote reads as if you guys also want to join India in bullying other nations. Just having some fun.![]()

i consider japanese govt though being in heart of USA to be very responsible and mature, as compared to unprofessional and immature indian govt
Xinjiang and Tibet are legitimate Chinese territories, but other South Asian coutries aren't India's legitimate territories.![]()
China didn't launch any Anti-India campaign, we merely make free trade and help them to lift their economy. What's wrong with that?![]()
If Pakistan/Bangladesh/Sri Lanka/Nepal/Bhutan are all willing to unify with India, then i don't see that China has any reason to intervene it.![]()
If you want Chinese support for Pakistan's policies, it's best that you not raise Japan over any other nation.
