It's not exactly a new concept. Racetracks for years have been doing that here in the US. Especially when it has just rained. Dries up the track perfectly. Also used after "caution" flag goes up, to blow debris off the track. And yes, snowblowers do too...

They are better than the British though. Over here we use snow plows..Talk about being poor and inefficient!
Have to say, China is doing a great job over there. :china:

Thats funny, but creative idea. Still, how much would it cost to run the engine?

No it won't tip over. Whenever I've seen them the engines are not running full thrust. Not needed. The heat also melts the ice and dries the ground up. Fuel is carried on the truck.
