I'm sure there are many courses of action that Pakistan can take before things come to the dam buster bomb phase.

Pakistan has been able to, alhamdulillah, weather the storm that came after the US invasion of Afghanistan. A lot has been learned and, I'd like to think, we've come about better prepared for the troubles that India may throw at us.

Once the US leaves and the Afghan border is secure enough, Pakistan will have a lot more free resources at hand and newer expertise to deal with India and exploit any weaknesses that may arise.
