GTRE just confirmed three engine projects
1) 20 kn for uav

2} 40 kn for umanned bomber

3) at planning stage 115 kn for future requirement

these two could be easily achievable by using knowledge of Kaveri Project.for 3rd one,it needs extensive research.but I wonder for what purpose that engine is going to be used.AMCA is going to have either F-414's or EJ-200's variant which will produce 120 KN.

Actually its a little more hard
getting from say 90 to 95 is easier than say 115 to 120.
and we already failed in the first case

Impossible to get 115kn engine.

20kn for UAV is almost impossible because the engine has to be much smaller than the current size of Kaveri which itself is the size of a UAV. Will be cancelled after 20 years of drama same as Kaveri.

40kn for a UCAV is a distant future perhaps a decade or so. Should emerge same time as Tejas Mk2.
