What's new

It is About Time Bharatis Stop Calling Their Dead "Shaheed"

'VIRMARAN' is word equivalent to martyr or shaheed.. Indian epics tell that the war in ancient times were Dharmayudha (war for right cause).. The one dies fighting achieves Virmaran (Vir=valiant; maran= death)

So, Why you haven't started using it till now? Why it's only limited to changing the name of places only?

Because North Indian Hindustani speakers have lost their Sanskrit roots.

All people from the non-Hindi belt in India use the correct words like

1) Veergati
2) Veera Maranam
3) Moksham

Doesn't matter what rest of Hindustanis use in some corner. Mainstream doesn't use those words, and name changing exercise is done in Hindi belt as well. So, argument of losing "Sanskrit" roots is not valid.

The quality of newer members have seriously dropped.....

What is this crap and uneducated mindset you lot have..

60% of Indians speak non-Hindi as their first language.....
