At first I also thought that it is very likely that this war will start in next few years... But In my opinion Israel will not wage that war unless and until there are significant Military power in the hands of Muslims.. this Military powers includes :-

1) Pakistan Nuclear Assets because now if you visit "Pakistan and Weapons of Mass destruction" page in Wikipedia, Pakistan is busy in building ICBM that will Insha Allah have the Range of 7500-8500 Km. So our Nuclear assets are the biggest threat to Israel...

AND

2) The Missiles capacity of Iran.

These two can give Israel real damage if they wage war before destroying these two powers that are in the hands of Muslims... Moreover these two countries are the part of the area of Khorasan, from where a muslim army will emerge and will destroy Israel and Dajjal ... So any military advantage possessed by Iran and Pakistan will never be tolerated by Israel

So somewhere near 2012-2013, I expect that, to remove such threat to the Terrorist State of Israel, these two threats will be attacked first.

Right now both of these countries i.e. Pakistan and Iran are being targeted by US directly and by Israel with the help of US, and everything possible is being done by US to take away such disastrous weapons from these Muslim countries.

So in my view, attack on Pakistan and Iran is very much certain before any war is waged by Israel in the Middle East.... I expect these wars on Iran and Pakistan to happen in this decade , But Allah knows best and Allah is the best of Planners..

First Palestinian roots are older than the arab conquest of Palestine and span all the way back to the Canaanites. And 3000-4000 years before the Jews, Canaanites and other people lived there. Don't mix things op, and decide what you want to say. Arabs attacked jews and vice versa in their local areas as the partition plan was not into effect at that time, difference is that arabs did not take over any new territory and was in defence. Outside arab involvement was as mentioned was mainly after the declaration of independence by Israel. Jerusalem was an international entity separate from the partition plan and not part of any israeli territory. Plan Dalet was not a purely defensive plan, historians don't disagree that an element of the plan was a carte blanche that gave place to occupy and garrison or expel and destroy the Arab villages along and behind the front lines or as your own historian Ilan Pappe puts it, its purpose was to conquer as much of Palestine and to expel as many Palestinians as possible. I would argue that the actions speak more than words because that's exactly what you did.

No it's not about greed, it's about taking back what was not yours to take.
