Israel authorizes interception of second Gaza flotilla

The Israeli Security Cabinet has approved the interception of the second Freedom Flotilla attempting to deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, the Israeli prime minister's advisor, Alex Selsky, said on Monday.

"Maximum efforts will be made to prevent violence and avoid contacts with ships' passengers," Selsky said.

International human rights organizations earlier announced plans to send 11 vessels by the end of June to Gaza, which has been under an Israeli blockade for the past four years. Hundreds of human rights activists from 40 countries are expected to be on board the vessels as well as members of the European Parliament and 40 journalists from all over the world.

On Sunday, Israel threatened to ban foreign journalists from entering the country for 10 years if they are caught traveling with the Freedom Flotilla.

Last May, a similar flotilla was intercepted by the Israeli Navy, who killed nine of its Turkish participants. The deadly raid attracted widespread international condemnation and the UN said the Israeli commandos showed an "unacceptable level of brutality."

The Foreign Press Association (FPA) condemned Israel's decision and urged it to withdraw the threat.

That kind of thinking is what will get the ship sunk. No country besides 1 perhaps 2 would risk going to war with Israel just to provoke Israel.
The Turks won`t be sending any warships, in fact, they even made IHH cancel their involvement in this flotilla. Now it`s just a bunch of leftist and anti-semitic bunch coming to provoke Israel and hopefully get a little bit of condemning going on.

The UN has found Turkey guilty for sending these "activists" just to provoke Israel since they were NOT carrying anything remotely useful for humanitarian purposes. Egypt has opened their borders to Gaza and all the food and medicine they could ever wish for can be sent through there. This is nothing but a provocative act aimed at making the world hate Israel just a tiny bit more, they believe their lives are worth sacrificing just for hatred, i say allow them.
Israel is smaller than your own city and yet stronger than the whole middle east combined, that speaks volumes.
If these "activists" keep wanna dying, then by all means, give Israel a reason to send them to hell.

This flotilla is nothing but provocation. The people in Gaza have better life conditions than the people of Karachi, but no one organise a flotilla to Krachi.

Israel has the right to defend itself and impose an embargo on the Barbaric and anti-Semite regime of Hamas in Gaza, and scrutinise any shipment to Gaza in order to prevent arms shipment to this terror state. The so-called human rights activists can transfer their aid through Israel or through Egypt, its their choice.

how can you say people of karachi are worse than people of ghaza??, karachi is a diverse city, it takes immigrants not like ghaza, it has its own inddustry, not like ghaza which depends on israel aid, our water and food and medicine dont get blocked, the people dont frequently get their homes bulldozed or sleep in streets or get gun shots for no reason,

and more, people of ghaza and palestine frequently come to karachi for education, no karachi person goes to ghaza for education

Again, being delusional is your right, but there are countless videos that show these "activists" coming with clubs and steel on the Israeli soldiers that were boarding the ship. How soldiers were thrown over and how one was stabbed mercilessly. Now there are reports that these new "activists" are going to attempt to kill any soldier that tries board the ship by showering them with chemical substances. I honestly hope that if they attempt this, they sink the ship.
