ISLAMABAD: United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador to Pakistan, H.E Hamd Ubaid Ibrahim in a kind gesture towards a female fruit seller gifted her a furnished house on Saturday to ease her struggles.

The fruit seller named Yasmeen in the federal capital’s Golrah area had racked up eyeballs on social media last year for her struggle to make ends meet after her husband passed away after which she had to take care of the cart full of fruits he left behind.

Owing to the little earnings and her struggles, Yasmeen was facing eviction for not being able to pay the rent after which she had appealed for help, that is when Ambassador Ibrahim stepped in to offer a hand of support.

Yasmeen was given a fully-furnished house in Islamabad by the UAE Embassy which led to her absolute elation over her problems finally getting resolved.

Wonderful gesture by Hamd Ubaid Ibrahim, thank you sir, Allah reward you handsomely.

We always acknowledge UAE's contribution towards Pakistan and Pakistanis and we must not take serious some kiddies and some OTHER people who have Qibla in Iran...Who loves Iran more than Pakistan just because of religious affiliations.
No need for the sectarian comments.
Focus on the good this man did
We also know what some Emirates do to Pakistani workers and workers from other poor countries. But this is a lovely story and respect for the man

Great share and on top of that, its the month of Ramzan and Emirati generosity becomes tenfold at sehr, iftar and in giving charity during this blessed month.

Fully furnished home in ISB is not cheap! Kuddos Sir and May ALLAH reward you many folds for helping a poor mother!

Why are women now given extra incentives to start and conduct businesses? Specially widowers and single mothers?

Or are they responsibility of foreign governments too?

What is your nonsensical problem?! Women dont get much "extra" their in laws mostly leave them as living dead...So if someone does 1-2 good things for one of the tens of thousands....I dont think it can be generalized enough to be an issue!

But it can be used as awareness measure to make the government do legislation in this regard.

We will probably end up solving the black/white money crisis too with this but i guess its not fun giving rights to women in Pakistan.

To give rights is not just the issue of the govt...You need to put it practical and those in charge of doing that dont have the balls to give women rights and power to be independent!
