Isn't the French authorities arrest enough for you, & being discussed in the Indian media outlets as well? Why would India want to start talks with France about this Indian national (& his mother claiming he's not a terrorist), to release him; if it's just the Pakistani media's conspiracy theories?

My only concern is this man was arrested weeks ago and this report coming now. There is no credible source of corroborating what you stated in your posts. Atleast provide a neutral source. ISI claims a lot of things, some the world has found out to be false.

Did his mom not claim he wasn't a terrorist? Didn't they find that he had links with SIMI & Al-Qaeda, & that he was based in Tamil Nadu? This has all been mentioned in the Indian media. So I don't know what you are arguing about with me.

Mohammed Niaz, originally from Madurai, was arrested at the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris May 10 on his arrival from Algeria, where he had developed links with an Al Qaeda franchise.

After his arrest, French Interior Minister Claude Gueant had described Niaz as a man with a high level of technical training.

He is said to be associated with Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, one of the Al Qaida’s franchises, in Algeria. The group has vowed to carry out attacks against France and other western nations.
