Is Urdu not Pakistan's official language?

I wish my UP was also a part of Pakistan, i ve hear from my elders that UP was becoming part of Pakistan for sure but Sir Nehru Jee was able to divide the Muslims of UP by offering high level government jobs

The region of the subcontinent is a region of linguistic diversity. All over the subcontinent comprising of Pakistan, Bharat, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan, there are countless languages and dialects. Urdu and Hindi are somehow lingua francas over large areas of the subcontinent.
