Your grandparents did not create Pakistan for so many other things as well but thats happening. If you happen to be a neighbour of a very big man, there can be only 2 things - you can either take pride in it or suffer from inferiority complex.

Economic and intellectual seamless borders are possible, but I will not like any mass migration as Pak has better pop density than both Ind and Ban and still its critical(this is very imp when you have to sustain(or reach) pop at high per capita/standard of living) btw ultimately the goal of all SA countries is to achieve high (developed world) standard of living for its population, so cooperation in this regard will be good.
