Is the occupation of Manipur by India stands illegal according to international law?

Not only Manipur but entire north east looks completely different compared to Indians, in their looks, culture, language, geography, etc. They look like South East Asians.

not only NE , Tamilnadu is also entirely different from India - in terms of looks, race and culture (language) and it was gifted by British to India against Tamils will. After 71 yrs of Hindi domination India has managed to turn Tamils into Hindi slaves. Its going to be a up hill task to re condition these brain dead Tamils who think they are Indians

Manipur is actually a Hindu Majority state. Hindus make just over 50 percent of the population.

does a hindu majority state justifies Indian occupation, using your logic, the whole of Europe (or ME) should be under a central rule as majority are Christians (Muslims) ..

Whats next - demand merger of 80+ % Hindu Bali with India ?

Indian occupation of Manipur is as legal as Pak's occupation of Balochistan or China's occupation of Tibet and Xinjiang or The US's occupation of Alaska.

Xinjiang & tibet both have been part of china in history ,tibet was part of china centuries ago before india was created by the british;Xinjiang has been part of China for the following major dynasties: Han, Sui (partially), Tang, Yuan, Ming, and Qing. Out of all the major dynasties in Chinese history, only Qin and Song didn’t rule Xinjiang.

Those are totally different cases than Manipur which was never part of India in history.Mainland India have never been able to control manipur .Bengal tried to invade Manipur in past but the bengal army was obliterated and the Bengal warcaptives's lineage are still living in manipur refusing to leave. Manipur was only a british colony ,just like burma or singapore. It had no real connection to india pre merger.India like to believe everything that was part of british empire in the indo pacific region belonged to india.

Since the public is getting more and more educated about their history and due to the recent attempt of implementation of CAB2016 & immigrant problem , public scorn any Hindu festivities as it reminisces of the oppressor mainland; Manipuris was forcefully converted into Hindus by an illicit king so the people took some selective aspect of vaisnavism and have a dogmatic relation toward it.But hinduism too is getting extremely unpopular and more and more meetei are only keeping the traditional sanamahism or changing to christian.Christian is majority religion in manipur in stats by now. The census doesn't reflect sanamahi or it would be 60%. Because all meitei are sanamahi regardless of what other religious practice they follow side by side.
