What's new

Is China Still Communist?

A mixture of everything, socialism, Confucianism, capitalism, Chinese are very flexible, whatever is useful for us and we just take them.

I see.

But what do you think of cases like Chinese teens selling kidneys to help them purchase a new iPhone, or the craze in China of creating skyscrapers basically replicating the American model for cities, or the presence of two stock markets in China ?? There are other things too like these.

Not very harmonious.

In US some people kill for a cigarette, but how many actually did that? you try to make crazy isolated lunatic case representing whole Chinese young population, that's very dumb, we all know what China is like and what India is like.

I know that India is not quite a harmonious society or that every Indian shares big economic wealth equally.

But tell me, how many young Chinese, older too, are transnational Socialists who adore such people as Che Guevara and desire a world that is Socialist ??

It's essentially the Communist party admitting Communism didn't work out but they can't say it openly.

So who is superior to the Chinese Communist Party ?? The PLA or the citizens ??

Chinese are more capitalists than even actual capitalists lol
Its simple they have mixed system ,political system is based on communism till its 2nd last step aka one party state(CCP). Actual communism calls for Classless and Stateless society ,which has never happened in history. So Chinese are not true communists.
While economic system is based on capitalism(that also not true one) aka Liberaliszation Globalisation reforms , flow of wealth etc etc.
So avoid accusations of not being a communists state ,they started the term "Socialism with Chinese characteristics".
Offcourse PLA is the militart wing of CCP. As CCP= PRC ,PLA is army of PRC. But it will essentially protect CPC.

i believe china adapts what works and discards what doesnt on top of what it has been.

flow with the passage of time but ideology is just a human construct hence the name of it dont matter

As communism idea has become death and even leave by all existing communist countries so what is your ideal type of system ?

As for me I believe in mix economy just like in the case of China, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore where state own companies play vital role in the economy and side by side with private companies.

For political system, democracy is the best system for me. Indonesian democracy system in my opinion is much better than American where only 2 parties that can survive and it is also better than parliament system like British has where government become weak just like how frustrated they try to manage their Brexit exit plan.

Communism is by far too advanced for any human civilization to achieve right now.

China right now is in the early stage of socialism with state-capitalism.
