LCA Program started even before Right brother's Glider, But India wasnt confident enough to make it fly... So its a couple of century old Aircraft I say.... A legend still in the making.... I guess You are happy now....

In 1990?? well I have to say a A governmental review committee was only formed in the 90's to review the ADA and other Infrastructure, In the 1990 we had a design in hand.... We decided to have an Aircraft in the 80's but that dosent mean we started to work then.... In 1992 the work began and 1995 a TD was rolled out.....

dont laugh, if iran can copy the F-14 then they're farther along and more davanced than anything india has(indigenous) in service right now
