this is just the beginning i want iran to do things which are not done by the west

Well they had sanctions since 1970's ... almost 30-40 years

But as a nation they have developed quite well , and probably economy wise they would have been Super Power now

The technological transfer is just hindering their growth because what US/NATO want Iran to be is a subordinate nation
slaves so they don't given them any knowledge and instead want them to buy the products , and sell their raw material to their corporations

When Iran said NO they had a problem with them just like how Britian had problem with Libya once Gaddafi gave oil deals to China

Thats why when every Iran needs to make a point they show their advancement in science and technology to slap US/NATO in face to show them what they can do on their own

One small step for Iran is a giant leap for Muslim world same can't be said about UAE who continues to build palm island , zoo and roller coaster rides

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei said Monday that Iranian nation have made the enemy acknowledge Iran's achievements in science and technology thanks to the opportunity created by the Islamic Revolution.
Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks in a meeting with hundreds of enthusiastic people from Kordestan province.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution recalled his previous visit to Kordestan province and appreciated the warm welcome and sincerity of the people during his stay in the province.
Ayatollah Khamenei said that people of Kordestan province have always remained committed to the Islamic Revolution and has disappointed the enemies at various junctures.
Ayatollah Khamenei said that the Iranian nation have established progress in the international community to the extent that the enemies have admitted several times.
IR Leader said that from the early stages of the Islamic Revolution, the enemies did what they could to suppress the revolution but to no avail as the vigilant Iranians powerfully thwarted their plots.
Elsewhere in his speech, Ayatollah Khamenei appreciated the hard work of people of Kordestan province to help implement the government's development projects and said that the great Iranian nation attained significant success and development in various sectors.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution said each province in the country should play its significant role in the country's development and Kordestan province is not an exception.
Ayatollah Khamenei said that the people of Kordestan province are loyal to the Islamic Revolution and have thwarted all conspiracies.

Except the topic headline which had the keyword Science/Technology the entire article is simply and full of propaganda crap.

What about your world ? what about pakistan ? I am not trolling here... When will people in your country stop thinking about achievements of muslim world and start thinking of pakistan as a country ?

And was it not a achievement of the muslim world when APJ abdul Kalam spearheaded the AGNI missile programme for INDIA ?

My point is, stop looking through religious lens towards everything. They were under sanctions not because they were muslims but they as a country was against US interests. And they successfully are coming out of that blockade. They are flourishing as a nation ? Is it so hard to comprehend ?

And Saudis are pretty dumb , they give like 30-40 billion dollars for Euro Typhoon or what ever crap plane that is , and the Europeans make their 500 planes first and then you get your 70 planes

Its like you give them knowledge , you give them better planes and then you get your odd 70 planes and no transfer of technology what a idiotic move

No pun intended to Saudis this is just business we are talking if that 30 billion was invested with joint venture with Pakistan / China we could have made space ship to fly to moon

anyways, I appreciate IRAN due to one reason. Inspite of how much I dislike their theology based politics but I must appreciate their penchant for knowledge and research based mentality. This is in complete contrast to the rest of the ARAB world which just want to purchase western/Chinese/foreign tech with petro $$.
