If you remembered the S-300-PMU2 story and it's contemporary project Bavar-373 the Iranian made airdefence system, it will happen in case of a fighter jet too.

I think Iran should get Su30's , as they are agile , twin engine , long range ..it will serve Iran in multiple roles .

Drones are good for creating a cheap deterrence against targets also crowd the enemy radar , but I don't think Iranians have a potent Airforce to fully utilize their drone potential ..

The airforce will develop, it's only a matter of time bro

Most of these potent UAV's Iran has are built by the IRGC. UAV's are the future in my opinion and Iran is already quite advanced in this sector.

Iran ordered s-300, Russians did not deliver it, so in 2007 Iran started it's own project in long range air defence, and today it has a few long range air defence systems, the most advanced of which, is Bavar-373 which will officially enter service in near future. The Bavar-373 is more advanced than the S-300PMU2 which Iran received couple of years ago!

In air defence, Iran does not need anyone anymore as it's own systems are very potent.

When it comes to fighter jets, we'll have to wait and see. Iran is not interested in just buying jet fighter, Iran wants to be involved in producing them, so our Chinese brothers can offer that, then no problem.

Why not get license production of J-10C ? It's amazing fighter .

IRIAF doesn't want it .... and J-10C is single engine fighter with limited range .... we need something with similar range of F14 ....
