Why would we think that other deities we don't believe in are equal? That seems pretty dumb to expect such a thing to me.

Because a Hindu can see Krishna in Christ or Allah and vice-versa. Hindus can see the same god everywhere and everything while on the other hand you cannot see god in anything because your definition of god is intangible for simple uneducated mind to perceive. Hence you go on destroying everything from idols to idol worshipers and everything in between which is tangible.

Some Indians actually think all Pakistanis are unaware of their history. My maternal family were also Kashmiri Brahmins, we know which families were. Allama Iqbal knew, and so does all his family. I don't get what the purpose of this thread is to be honest.

nobody is confused. we just do not have time to go deeper. our students get education to get jobs instead to becoming intellectuals .unfortunate but true .
Pakistan is just 70 years old with diverse population having different roots . it is like we have just started crawling while you expect us to start running. just give us time we are slowly reclaiming our historical cultural/geographical history.

Majority of Kerala Christians are Brahmins so are the atheist Communists of Kerala & West Bengal.

One reason could be that with 80% of the seats for education and jobs now reserved for backward castes and the percentage is bound to grow with new groups like Jatt, Marathas, Patel, Kapus etc. all taking out rallies for them to be included in the list of backward castes.

Brahmins know that they would never be included in the list and hence have no future in India forcing them to convert to other religions in the hope of better opportunities. If you convert to Islam or Christianity or become an atheist at least you could get financial support from GCC or Vatican or CCP.
