Infographic Reveals Which Countries It Is Safe To Drink Tap Water

BS graphics.

I've drank tap water in Pakistan (AJK) perfectly safe. I wouldn't do it in the cities though or further south. It's more complex than these graphics.

Just because you drank it and didn't feel a thing doesn't mean it's safe. Pakistani water in many areas is infested with arsenic.

You also have an active immune system but not everyone is same level of competence and will get ill from drinking the same water.

They analyse the waters germ content and Pakistan is so dirty and unclean and full of bad germs. Most population has become immune but weather changes and they get affected (germs numbers increase).

Pakistan has no concept of cleanliness on government level. Look at the shithole of the world Karachi.

This report is 100% accurate.

Most Pakistanis are drinking arsenic water which leads to cancer, brain damage, lung, kidneys, liver cirrhosis, i mean it's poison but at low quantities so people don't even know.

BBC did a report couple years back.

BS, tap water isnt drinkable anywhere unless you like taste of chlorine.
No, in Australia and NZ, we all drink it from the tap unless there is any contamination warning issued by water board (in case of floods, or some incident in catchment area of dams etc)

We are lucky in AJK we have next to no industry. Very little pollution upstream from us. On top of that it's not over populated and we live in the pind. The wells we bore out provide clean water. What is happening in the rest of Pakistan, particularly urban areas is zulm. I can't believe it's such a non-issue for government and electorate alike.

Bro, look at this

https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2017/08/arsenic-drinking-water-threatens-60-million-pakistan

This should have been red alert news but it didn't get any attention in Pakistan media. My doctor friend heard about it but he wasn't aware of the extent either.

Dirty germ infested water is one thing, your body can at least handle that. Arsenic is pure poison and there's no defence.

I feel sad for Karachi. Look at the uselessness of the people ruling it and the level of their corruption. Is it really that hard to clean it up? NO it is not. Hire some janitors and send industrial grade machinery and job done.
