It is a self perpetuating phenomenon.
These guys are sexually abused by their teachers, it's an open secret that it goes on in madrassahs. These kids grow up with it and it becomes a norm in their lives. There are certainly a few gay guys there, but I would argue that a lot of it is situational since they are surrounded by men 99% of the time and society does not allow them much interaction with women.... so time to have "fun" with friends.

When I was in the gulf, Arabs were not really bothered by homosexual acts as long as no girl was involved. Arabs themselves told me about "going to the desert" with their male friends.

I know few Gay people from Karachi , He was once beaten up by the Gaming arena people for trying to kiss a young guy .

Homosexuality is just a shitty mentality that a person grows in time, can have many reasons especially the type of company a kid has between 10-17.
