Indians feel safe by not such pomp shows but by the examples like their forces will come on time save them instead of waiting for minister to travel with them.Indians feel safe by the examples of not allowing rupin katyal type murder.

All Central and State govt Enjoy PF and Pension Schemes But not to an extent A Soldier Enjoys.... How much is Your PF?? How Much is taken from your Salary?? And Do Central and State govt employees Enjoy both PF and Pension??

And India Is Not Poor Enough to Break a traditional Fund for a Cause of Others.... Soldiers do get Benefitted, I set up a farm without taking my PF and Pension... I was privileged Enough to get land and other accessories from the state govt As an X army man with only 30% Investment from My part.... I dont expect anything more from the govt...

My Pention arrears and PF are well Deposited In Fixed... I dont claim my country to be 100% perfect, But its Not heartless to Ignore Its heroes

I hate to say this, but I too think we dont really need a 'show of might' on our republic day. With all our arsenal on display it feels less like a Republic Day and more like a "scare your enemies day". We can keep the arms display for the Armed forces day or something and just have the other cultural aspects on republic day.

I am Indeed Lucky Enough to get the Support of State govt, But State govts Support is Voluntary and Second to what the Nation Gives... And As I already said, My Nation is no mr 100% , It has Its Own Prospects which It has to look into, Corrupted Leaders, But Not all the soldiers are treated alike.... Some one or two are Ignored but the Public has been Cautious about it and Are out on streets protesting for there heroes, its All because of the Awareness they get from the Republic day and other parades.... Now dont escalate the topic to religion...

A Nation Gives what it should to all its Heroes, we are not rich enough to Discriminate between a Foot Soldier and an officer after his/her tenure... After retirement Even if You retire as COAS , "X Army" is the only title awarded to u, Same Treatment and Pension and PF...
