They have neutral accent and get paid less,if you see most of the major Indian companies will have their centers there owned and operated by Indians.

arent these call center guys trained to speak in American accent??

I hope that the new government will come up with a policy to revive BPO and call center business as it provides a lots of opportunity to young people who are not very highly educated.

Opportunity knocks, $30 billion niche. Pakistanis who can, should jump on the occasion.
The war in Ukraine is not for nothing either, do you know how sexy the Ukrainian girls voices are, mostly in English with an eastern sexy switch. that constitutes at least a $100 billion market niche in call centers. I have worked in some in the beginning of the trend and trade, at different levels, with different concepts, and know pertinently the power of sexy voices in telecommunications based sales or service environments combined of course with the fundamental skills pertaining to the trade. But I can advance without a single doubt that the voice and accent characteristics play a very big role in the success of operations, by getting the attention of customers, holding that attention, and influencing the outcome of the conversation.
Simply because a pleasant voice acts like a magnet, and many human pleasure sensations come through the hearing process.
