The BSF has wanted to do this for some time but the Rangers were unhappy and given this even is organised on mutual understanding nothing more was done but I guess the BSF have gone ahead anyway.Worst news ever, why?
Pakistan already inducted more women into many official institutions, why India follow us? chest thumping to Obama visit?
What nonsense is this ? I witnessed the Flag Lowering ceremony and the spectacle that goes with it only 2 weeks ago. Either I was hallucinating or the blokes on the Indian side of the border in their Khakis and their Crimson plumes were reciprocating every gesture that the Pakistan Rangers were engaging in !
Journalistic Ethics never came across as one of the strong points of Indian Media but outright Falsification is taking it too far !
The BSF wanted to tone down the aggressive posturing this much is true, I guess the media has taken this news and come to false conclusions. Either way the Rangers wouldn't allow it.What nonsense is this ? I witnessed the Flag Lowering ceremony and the spectacle that goes with it only 2 weeks ago. No, we've toned down.India has been long complaining that this little tantrum comes at very high health costs- the hip joints get badly damaged (apaparently it' worse on the pak side since they show muh more aggressive stomping and threatening postures). India then decided to unilaterally tone it down a bit.

Aurton ke pichey keya zankhe hon ge? Shame shame we not fight this type of armyJang mein bh hamari auratein aagey jayeingi. Kitni beizzati hogi- losing at the hands of women too.

How do we know the Rangers wouldn't allow it and even if they didn't did they ask the BSF guys to match their moves with ours or else !![]()
It was reported on at the time, I remember watching a WSJ video report on the matter. And by the very nature of this ceremony it is coordinated between the BSF and Rangers so yes the BSF does need to match the moves of the Rangers otherwise the entire ceremony will be a waste of time. How do we know the Rangers wouldn't allow it and even if they didn't did they ask the BSF guys to match their moves with ours or else !![]()

I have not in anyway said the BSF doesn't want to do the ceremony- they do. But they simply want(ed) to tone down the aggressive posturing.Thats an extremely poor excuse and you know it; if the BSF actually thought that the ceremony was not worth it or was a waste of time they wouldn't engage in it. No one engages in a ceremony that they think is a waste of time simply because not engaging in it would make it a waste of time. The fact that they do and enthusiastically so is enough to shoot down such a hopeless excuse.
