Indian Navy warship visits Malaysia - Brahmand.com

PORT KLANG, MALAYSIA (BNS): Indian Navy warship INS Airavat (L-24) has docked at a port in Malaysia as part of a friendly visit to the Southeast Asian country.

The vessel docked at the Cruise Terminal Glenn in Port Klang on Wednesday.

The 5,650 ton amphibious warfare ship is on a four-day visit to Malaysia to enhance bilateral cooperation.

The warship, which is the fifth indigenously built Landing Ship Tank (Large) of the Indian Navy, was commissioned into service in May 2009.

Not too far from my house. About a 40 minutes drive. I might drop by to have a view of the ship :P

And to the crew of the ship, welcome and selamat datang to Malaysia :)
