But the fact of the matter is that he did dissect the Indian Media to the core. Is that not the same formula being applied on Republic, Zee News, India Today* etc.?

Its like thousands of FOX News Channels are being run in India...

India Today is crap, but the only time its worth watching is when the best Indian Journalist/Anchor (Rajdeep Sardesai) is on.

Yes, that is the unfortunate case now.

But I would like a scenario where the Indian people, especially the middle class, agree to allow ( by election or revolution ) the progressives in India whose first job in governance will be to prevent Indians from dying of hunger ( in year 2020 ! ) instead of continuing to be the world's second largest armaments importer and posturing against China and Pakistan.

you know sir we indians are most corrupt , dishonest , crooked , hypocrite, liar and coward people , we will chose any thief , criminal , gunda as our representative because he belongs to our caste , religion, state or region . this is true for all indians . nobody gives vote to honest deserving candidate .

TRP as a measure of intellect in India is misleading. A saas-bahu serial like 'Kyunki saas bhi bahu thi' had high TRP. What should that tell us about India's women ?

Come on Surya, you're talking about the 2% intellects that don't want to listen to same points that are being repeated day in and day out.

Personally, i've never seen his show - so I can't comment on it.

Let me put it this way, if a vast number of the public feel some kind of motivation courtesy of saber rattling done by these channels, does really change the optics of reality. Sure, the Rafale is a great piece of equipment, and no one disagrees and it very well may be more advanced that PAF's F-16's. But to think that it'll instantly make a difference - with 5 Aircrafts is stretching it. Just 'cause India & the West don't agree that the Chinese J-20 isn't really a 5th Gen Fighter..., doesn't mean it isn't. And if India is so confident with the Meteor - that I suggest you give the Chinese a run for their money and test out the Rafale.

I never asked any Indian to watch a particular Show/Channel. I gave my views on journalism. Its a free World, watch whatever the hell you want.

But coming to the point, are those Graphics, Questions, Music and footage not commonly used by majority of the Channels?
