During the Kargil war their ground forces had radar which tracked the trajectory of shells fired from our artillery guns and were able to pinpoint and destroy many of them. Besides, they have far fewer recruits to equip, not to mention all the equipment that flew in due to the WOT. When it come to combat they will definitely have some BJ on.

I believe there were some issues with the weight.
All issues have been rectified and the underbarrel granade launcher was cleared for bulk production.Both livefist and broadsword had reported this.

really then what should INSAS be replaced with??? if 5.56mm is too weak why not just bring back the old SLR's and AK47's that get the job done? if DRDO can make a rifle that is hi tech and suited for our armys needs than all is well how ever having OFB produce them at a variable quality is another issue i guess even you accept OFB produces cheap and crappy arms, maybe INSAS is not the problem but the quality of the OFB produces rifles
