The Royal Bhutan Army did the flushing up in their part of the region and the IA was waiting with 'garlands' at the border.

Yeah i agree with you. I think before this IA army only operated in Maldives and Sri Lanka. Maldives operation was of small duration but during Sri Lankan operation everybody felt uneasy.
The only thing we need to understand is that, we have to respect the integrity of Myanmar and be grateful that such an operation is sanctioned. The last thing we need is one more hostile neighbor.
