Indian Data fudging: Dressing up GDP and budget numbers does no good to economy

So Bangladesh, with its base year of 2005, still has a higher per capita GDP than India which uses 2011-12 as the base year. I reckon the actual GDP per capita of Bangladesh would be at least 30-40% higher than that of India.
