Today Indian Border Security Force has stopped a delegation of civil society organisations from crossing into Pakistan legally at Wahgha border.

The delegation is going to Ghaza.

A female official of the delegation while talking to media has just said that they have valid visas for Pakistan and Pakistani authorities have given them permission. But they have NO permission from Indian Government despite having valid visas.

They are now at wahgha border

Some permissions might be pending with GoI. Whats the big deal?

They might get permission in next few days.

Indian public servants work very slowly, get used to it.

i think few days ago a delegation frm pakistan came to mumbai on 26 nov.
they were all ladies

yara its Indian NGOs delegation which is coming to Pakistan with valid visas but India has stopped them from entering Pakistan.

the NGOs delegation has to reach Ghaza on December 27th through Pakistan and other relevant countries i guess Iran too.

Could be because Indian Govt version is yet to come.

Or may be India Govt taking time to decided because the delegation is going to Ghaza Palestine for humanitarian work so may be India observes caution not to offend Israel.

Why would Israel get offended with Indian humanitarian assistance ?

I think its a simple case of delays that come with long procedures of the Indian govt.

Maybe they are not comfortable about the security situation in Pak..who knows?

 the NGOs people are very much comfortable with Pakistan and their security here thats why they chose to go through Pakistan instead of flying to some nearby country bordering Israel.

come up with some other excuse

Did the NGOs claim that they were comfortable with the security? Even if they are happy,it\'s the govt which should be satisfied. We dont want any hostage situation especially when the relations are sour.
