Mental issue is not a joke. Like other diseases its can be cured. PTSD in soldiers is very common, they observe deaths very closely and one is only human with emotions , without them what are we? If Indians soldiers are facing such critical but basic issue then what has their high ranking officers have done. What has their Govt done for them.
Instead of facing problem one poster even started comparing it with United States. Try to fix the problem. The poor fellow must belong to a poor family thats why no one is talking about it if it was some celebrity it would have been a fiasco.

JAMMU: A soldier allegedly shot himself dead on Sunday with his service rifle at a forward post near the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, said officials.
Havaldar Rajinder Kumar was on duty when he reportedly shot himself with his rifle at his post in Salootri area around 8.25 am, the officials said.
He was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to injuries at around 10.05 am, they said, adding the motive behind his taking such an extreme step was not known immediately.
Police have started inquest proceedings to investigate the incident, the officials said.
