Mig-21 is early 1960 design and we cloned it as J-7 in 1970s...which still 15 years time frame, not as Akash in guinness book which cloned an halft century antique and as matter of fact we have sold alot of these J-7 toys to other countries

While Chinese was doing copy-paste or reverse engineering whole world was criticizing them like hell and now china is independent and superpower. We got late and just received the message of "It doesn't matter whether a cat is white or black, as long as it catches mice." and so far we have achieved well enough. It will take around 15-20 years max to achieve the league, till then what matters if its of 1950 or 60's, it should just work what it means for.

H-6K is stand off cruise missiles carrier as the updated American B-52 role, it has a total different role as 1960's H-6 which directly flying a bombarmment mission and beside we've makde our copy of Tu-16 since 1970s but your Akash is developped from a 50 years old SA-6, you could have reverse engineering of S-300 or other more sophisticated SAM, I guess there must be a rational explaination why you guys didn't do it or couldn't do it.

Well for your knowledge, These missiles are designed to intercept low level flying objects and over short distance which S300 to S500 can't do..... technology dear, and also your S300 to S500 need to be stand still for firing and not mobile like Aakash which can fire missile on the move.

Aakash system take less a min to launch but Su-300 to 500 system taken 10-15 mins to set up for launch.

..lol copying we are not that much dumb like Chinese to copy without knowing what we are copying and its adv and dis adv. Copying also need some brain.
