We are just trying to sell more arms to india by these opinionated pieces in nyt...they are part state propaganda as needed.
it's a veiled mock at the Russian arms industry....that has been arming india since the end of world war 2
summary of the NYT article:
American arms - good.
Russian arms - baaad.
buy new toys now
unfortunately such articles are targeted only at the intelligencia and has no real bearings in shaping public percwption.
