And the context was people commenting on a news coming out of Lanka for India... And we still get a lecture...

Even the theorists, who invented the concept of 'representative sampling' be put to shame at how representative a sample (a couple of blokes) is considered to be indicative of Indian Govt stand... Impressive!

These will never come from GOI at least with the present govt. If imposed it is a great trouble for Srilanka and will hurt them more.

GOI should leave the "friendship in patches" habit to America and continue practicing so -called "all -weather friendships " . It would help us in the long run , and improve our image as a trust-worthy and reliable partner amongst our many friendly countries .

Same case happened with Myanmar a few years back , with certain quarters calling for sanctions etc . Thankfully the GOI retained its alliance with the Junta . Geo-politics is a very fickle game with little room for mistakes.
