It brings an interesting point. Will France withhold support/spare for the planes if India gets involved in a conflict with a western ally as it did to Russia?

Just though you may want to review your position on that now....Russian media at it's best
the problem with them is that they expect everyone to beleive whatever B.S they print /post in their media
Simply frustrated of recent events & that frustration is clearly visible through their media
1) US toppled the russians as biggest defence supplier of india
2) French are reluctant to state clearly whether they would give mistral to france or not
3) INdia calling Obama on republic day parade for the 1st time after independence
4) meanwhile indians have some issues regarding PAk-fa , Technology sharing , early induction
CHEERS
It is not a taunt, just a reminder how things can change!

i am not talking about the reasons or the future programs... will come to that in relevant threads, more likely in relevant time. The time for the deal is long gone. I just hope the deal for PakFa is closed and we agree to take the surplus production capacity of the Russians till 2020. This will ensure by 2021 we have 2 squadrons operational.
Speed up the LCA. Get the Mk II up. Increase numbers and get it to required operational strength.
Going for a stop gap Rafale, which we will order in bulk tomorrow, will result in a serious escalation of costs that can be better diverted to current projects.
This was just to mention who sure and rigid we were about what the MMRCA deal and the whole world was revolving around it, still, things can change pretty quickly. it is a reminder, TO ALL OF US, to be a bit flexible in our views.i am not talking about the reasons or the future programs... will come to that in relevant threads, more likely in relevant time. This was just to mention who sure and rigid we were about what the MMRCA deal and the whole world was revolving around it, still, things can change pretty quickly. it is a reminder, TO ALL OF US, to be a bit flexible in our views.
