Pakistan, and Afghan Taliban don't want to oppose trade through Chahbahar..

Afghan Taliban can earn a lot of revenue by imposing toll tax (and a lot of it).. and if it is not negotiated on their terms, they will have free cargo distributed among poor Afghans..

I don't know why this news is even good for India and bad for Pakistan/ Afghnis..

Chahbahar started when Indian influence in Afghanistan was much higher.. Indians thought that US will remain in Afghanistan to save their investments forever, or will be able to bring Afghans to the negotiation table on its terms.. and Pakistan will be forced to oblige through spreading terror.. Nothing is working in the end..

Ask those investors who invested heavily in Afghanistan's infrastructure in the past 5 years how this news of US leaving Afghanistan is making them crazy.. lollll

Have there been any indications or public statements the Taliban are pro/neutral/or Anti-India or Iran recently or will be once the draw down happens.

Unless Indian or Iranian Troops or their proxies plan to pickup the fight, similar to the 90s, negotiating with the Taliban will necessary for continued Indian business operations in Afghanistan. This port could still work, but would require a long detour through central Asia to come into cities like Mazar-e-Sharif, where the government may still hold out if the SHTF for them.
