AAD and parhaar look same

Both missiles are based on same platform. Prahaar derived from AAD. After AAD being developed DRDO realized it's capability as a quick reaction, agile, high accuracy tactical ballistic missile.

A question for the Indian members here: how many times has India been attacked by a missile attack in the last 63 years of its history? Does it really face any kind of threat from missile attacks that it is going through all this, or should its priorities be elsewhere?

It's supposed to fry the navigation and other electronic systems of the missile throwing it off path. There were also reports of it heating the warhead/booster phase to a level wherein it detonates, but this part is not substantiated.
