India 'seriously looking' to co-produce weapon systems with US

I'm still wondering if India and US 'll be able to pull this off because India doesn't like taking orders while America loves ordering around.

Well thats my doubt as well. I hope GOI will work out a way.

Well if taken seriously India can get its hands onto some state of art stuff.
Will be monitoring these development closely.

Depends on what techs and what conditions, the fact that we opted against their ATGMs shows us the current state, since that was the easiest chance to go for a first joint development project, which doesn't even include too much high level techs. On the other side I'm not surprised about DRDO's interest, they don't learn.

Hmmm. DRDO never learns. About time to change their role just as technology provider than manufacturer. Production should be left to private players.
Just a thought though.
