India - Saudi Arabia ties: Scaling new heights

So you have no regret of loosing a decades old ally to India?

What can IK do in a year, the damage started in the 90s. The problem centres on our poor economy and its lack of bargaining power, that’s all these foreign leaders care about at the moment.

Ksa will throw lavish treatment at modi, make some big statements about friendship. Modi is easy to play. Ksa will continue to do business with Pakistan. They are receiving huge amounts of dollars from supa power india, nothing wrong in pretending to be customers friend.

So you have no regret of loosing a decades old ally to India?

There is only 2 scenerio of realities.

Either alliance was just hypocrite or was very weak.

If the alliance was so weak that it broke just because Pakistan refused to rent it's soldiers to kill Yemeni Muslims, then I would prefer no alliance. And if it was hypocrite alliance where one preferred bharti market size then also I prefer no alliance.

I have nothing more to say on this topic, except praying almighty Allah that either show gulfies the siraat e mustaqim or may they live together where their bharti habibis live after this world.

The Bahrain Foreign Minister told the Palestinians to shut up and accept what Trump is offering or you don't get shit, some support from GCC.

To be fair to the fat Bahraini pig, the Palestinian issue was never a raison d^etre for the GCC. Political realities are changing and Israel should be recognized by all, including Iran, Pakistan, and Saudi. Turkey, Jordan, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Bosnia, Kosovo have already recognized it. Why shouldn't Pakistan?

Honestly this should be blow to the folks we should still be allied with these Gulfie fools I still dont think recognizing Israel would do good for us like When it comes to other countries with the exception of India we should be open to businesslike wtf we dont have ties with Armenia a irrelevant Ex Soviet republic we had no issues with I know the Turks got beef but their problem with Azerbaijan should not matter to us first tell where 90 percent of Pakistanis can point to Azerbaijan or Armenia on the map barley btw Baku is very chum chum with Israel Azerbaijanis are the most Liberal Muslims out there they grow wine vineyards there there a statue in the middle of Downtown Baku of a women litterly pulling a head scarf out so dont tell me we shouldn't have ties with Armenia if Azerbaijan is barley a religious Muslim country again I gave a long example of why Pakistanis have misplaced priorities on other Muslims when they dont care about us I like Turkey and Turkish people but do we have to agree with them 100 percent same with Iran and the GCC Arabs we should be more realistic as for Israel it's the Masjid Al Aqsa I worried about it the Jews can be trusted and I am fearful of its fate otherwise the Palestinians are irrelevant for us

Very well said brother.

Saudi Arabia, known to be a key ally of Pakistan, has been siding with India in its campaign to rid the region of terrorism and pledged to extend all cooperation to effectively deal with the challenge.

“The two sides stressed that the extremism and terrorism threaten all nations and societies. They rejected any attempt to link this universal phenomenon to any particular race, religion or culture,” said a joint statement issued at the end of Modi’s visit

It said that both sides expressed their rejection of all terrorist acts and stressed the need to prevent access to weapons including missiles and drones to commit terrorist acts against other countries.

Strengthening Strategic Partnership
The two sides re affirmed their deep commitment to strengthen the strategic partnership envisaged in the 'Riyadh Declaration' of March 2010, it said.

They agreed on the importance of bilateral engagement to promote ways to ensure the security and safety of waterways in the Indian Ocean region and the Gulf region from the threat and dangers that may affect the interests of the two countries including their national security, the statement said.

Modi thanked King Salman for the continued supply of the petroleum products to India despite the attack, Tirumurti said.

Regional and Global Issues of Mutual Interest
King Salman also congratulated Modi on his party's election win.

The two sides inked an MoU for cooperation in the area of renewable energy. They also signed agreements to increase the number of flights between the two countries to facilitate people-to-people contacts, medicine products regulation and prevention of trafficking of narcotics among others.

"The two sides noted the continued positive economic transformation in both countries and stressed the importance of expanding the trade and investment ties in order to advance the strategic cooperation," the joint statement said.

India’s relations with Saudi Arabia have been on an upswing over the last few years based on burgeoning energy ties. India’s bilateral trade with Saudi Arabia was at USD 27.48 billion in 2017-18, making Saudi Arabia its fourth largest trading partner.

This is Prime Minister Modi's second visit to the country.

Saudi Arabia last month said that it was looking at investing USD 100 billion in India in areas like energy, refining, petrochemicals and infrastructure.

They discussed regional and global issues of mutual interest, and reiterated their categorical rejection of all forms of interference in the internal affairs of countries, and the need for the international community to fulfil its responsibilities towards preventing any attacks on the sovereignty of states, the joint statement said.

But according to Pakistanis, India and Saudi Arabia have only an economic relationship. How can India and Saudi Arabia be strategic partners?

Obviously thay have foundational alignment starting at the Kalima Tayyaba that denies existance of all Indian gods to begin with. Next is their threat preception and then India's fundamental wish to protect Islam as the foundational principles of its strategy.

My apologies. I completely forgot about the mighty Ummah. India would be foolish to go against the iron bonds of the Ummah.

In the Hadith collections, the prophet is reported to have said:

"The Hour shall not be established until tribes of my Ummah unite with the idolaters, and until they worship idols." (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2219)

Thawban narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said: "The Hour shall not be established until tribes of my Ummah unite with the idolaters, and until they worship idols. And indeed there shall be thirty imposters in my Ummah, each of them claiming that he is a Prophet/Nabi. And I am the last of the Prophets(Rasulun/Nabiyun), there is no Prophet(Rasulun/Nabiyun) after me."

"Only the wicked people would survive and they would be as careless as birds with the characteristics of beasts. They would never appreciate the good nor condemn evil. Then Satan would come to them in human form and would say: Don't you respond? And they would say: What do you order us? And he would command them to worship the idols but, in spite of this, they would have abundance of sustenance and lead comfortable lives." (Sahih Muslim 2940 a)
